Psalm 118:22-24
The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.
This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
When it appeared that evil was winning, He revealed He was above it all. Evil cannot win. Even evil is enfolded into His plan of redemption.So this surprise twist of the plot is the Lord’s doing, and it is indeed marvelous. This is the reason we can rejoice in this day, whatever the day holds. However it seems that evil is winning, we search for redemption clues. He is in this day.
“Lord, give us eyes to see, to marvel, to be filled with wonder, to be astonished at what You have done.
Let our belief in You as the Redeemer who can never be thwarted form our view of the day before us.”
